This role offers a flexible work arrangement, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities in Edmonton.
This one-year term position involves coordinating restoration monitoring programs and supervising field staff. You will manage logistics, maintain data quality, and collaborate with various stakeholders for habitat recovery initiatives across Alberta. Support scientific efforts while driving project success in ecological restoration through effective coordination and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate annual restoration monitoring and resource allocation
• Organize equipment and logistics for field activities
• Supervise seasonal ecological field staff and their training
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards
• Review field data for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant environmental science field
• Minimum of five years in ecological program coordination
• Experience supervising field staff in ecological or environmental projects
• Strong knowledge of monitoring methods and logistics
• Proven organizational and communication skills
