Boreal's Emergency Department is hiring three Emergency Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) to help expand our services. This full-time role revolves around patient care and collaboration with experienced veterinarians. Candidates need to be active members of the ABVMA and ABVTA while showcasing essential RVT skills like patient monitoring and communication. This position offers you the opportunity to mentor others and grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical procedures and administer medications to patients

• Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations

• Lead by example and mentor Animal Care Assistants

• Manage communications with clients regarding care plans

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and patient documentation

Requirements:

• Current membership in both ABVMA and ABVTA

• Expertise in basic RVT skills and monitoring techniques

• Strong critical thinking and time management

• Ability to lift considerable weight during shifts

• Commitment to professional growth and training
