As an integral part of the Veterinary team, you will ensure the health and welfare of research animals while guiding compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat a variety of research animal species
• Monitor and manage animal health programs
• Guide on humane endpoints and experimental design
• Facilitate training for laboratory staff on veterinary care
• Provide expert review for animal use protocols
Requirements:
• DVM degree; licensure with ABVMA preferred
• Minimum five years of clinical experience is ideal
• Understanding of CCAC and CALAM standards
• Prior laboratory veterinary experience highly regarded
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
