Position: CFMWS Golf Course Groundsperson Role

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), your expertise as a Groundsperson will shine through in maintaining our golf course. This role involves various gardening responsibilities, turf care, and the operation of irrigation systems. You will also assist in training new team members and maintaining the aesthetic integrity of our outdoor areas. Your detail-oriented approach will ensure safety and quality throughout your tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain vibrant greens and flowerbeds

• Operate irrigation and turf treatment systems

• Contribute to constructing and repairing course features

• Help train new ground crew members

• Ensure cleanliness and safety in all operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma

• Valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator License

• Driver’s License in Alberta

• Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance

• Skills in operating specialized turf care equipment
