Emergency Vehicle Supplies Technician

Become a Vehicle Equipment Supplies Service Technician (VESST) with ALTA Paramedic Health in Edmonton. Flexibly manage vehicle maintenance and medical equipment support across shifts.

This position is crucial for ensuring fleet readiness and compliance with operational standards. As a VESST, you will be involved in daily maintenance, inventory management, and interaction with vendors. Be aware of the physical aspects of the job, including lifting and potential direct patient contact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles

• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stocked

• Manage logistics for moving vehicles with vendors

• Perform repairs on medical devices when needed

• Support emergency operations during disasters

Requirements:

• Completion of an ACP-approved program

• Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics

• Basic Life Support certification necessary

• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence

• F.A.R.E. test proof required prior to hire
