Support tree operations with Davey Tree Expert Co. in Nisku, Alberta as a Groundperson. Engage in key groundwork, assist climbers, and gain exposure to the arborist field.

As a Groundperson, you will play a crucial role in assisting climbers and trimmers at Davey Tree Expert Co. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on experience in tree services. Your responsibilities will help you grow within the industry, offering comprehensive training and opportunities for certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide groundwork support during trimming operations

• Operate chainsaws and manage brush loading

• Assist in job-site setup and equipment maintenance

• Abide by safety policies and contribute to cleanup

• Rake and blow leaves as needed

Requirements:

• Valid provincial driver’s license

• Willingness to pursue arborist certification

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

• Previous landscaping experience is a plus
