Job Description
This posting is intended to collect Expressions of Interest for potential future opportunities. As a Quality Control Lead with industrial experience for a permanent job in Strathcona, AB, you will oversee and manage all Quality Management System activities for project execution by supervising quality personnel, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements, coordinating inspections and testing, managing audits and corrective actions, and maintaining complete quality documentation.
What would you be doing?
Oversee the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) for all project execution activities, including field inspections.
Supervise day‑to‑day Quality operations and the work of shop and field Quality Inspectors and Representatives.
Ensure all work, inspections, subcontractor requirements, and documentation comply with QMS, codes, standards, legislation, and client specifications.
Plan and manage Quality activities (e.g., NDE, PWHT, pressure testing), verify equipment calibration, and initiate non‑conformance and corrective action processes.
Participate in internal/external audits, develop Quality Management Plans, ensure complete subcontractor/supplier submittals, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications
CSA W178.2 Level II or higher with applicable endorsements and valid eye exam, or API 510/570 Piping/Pressure Vessel Inspector.
Strong ability to interpret regulations, policies, drawings, specifications, and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Demonstrated leadership, change management, team‑building abilities, and strong prioritization to meet deadlines.
Technical diploma (WET or MET) or Journeyperson certification, with thorough knowledge of ASME and CSA code requirements.
Minimum 5 years of Quality Control experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

This position has been identified as a safety‑sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
