Welding QC Inspector at Silent-Aire

Join Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Nisku as a Welding QC Inspector. Focus on quality assurance for welding processes to meet stringent standards in this essential role.

This full-time role offers evening shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, where you will directly examine and assess products in compliance with quality requirements. You'll perform thorough inspections of in-process units and ensure that all documentation reflects accurate quality standards. Your responsibilities also include inspecting welded carbon steel and aluminum parts and collaborating with the engineering team on any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections on production units and paperwork

• Ensure all welding meets quality codes

• Manage inspection documentation and online photo archives

• Report on safety issues in a timely manner

• Assist team members in refining inspection processes

Requirements:

• Level 1 CSA 178.2 W59/W47 endorsements essential

• 1-3 years in quality control settings

• Familiarity with quality control methodologies

• Ability to interpret shop drawings accurately

• Strong attention to detail and self-direction
