Quality Control Coordinator at Colas

Drive quality excellence at Colas as a Quality Control Coordinator. Ensure construction compliance through effective QAQC management and oversight of project standards.

This role focuses on managing daily QA and QC responsibilities and ensuring that construction meets project requirements and codes. As a QAQC Coordinator, you will collaborate with various stakeholders and lead audits while reporting to the Project Quality Manager. Your detail-oriented nature and strong communication skills will significantly contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document surveillance audits for quality assurance

• Develop and review Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP)

• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit programs

• Ensure team accountability for quality requirements

• Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in major LRT or similar project inspections

• Certifications in engineering or technology

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Building and CSA codes

• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record
