In the Edmonton office, you will play a crucial role within a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving health and safety standards. You will engage in project assessments and collaborate with clients and regulators to enhance safety measures. Utilizing your industry knowledge, you will lead safety audits, incident investigations, and develop training materials tailored for various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide programmatic health and safety support for projects
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and recommend improvements
• Lead incident investigations to identify root causes
• Serve as an internal auditor for health and safety programs
• Collaborate on health and safety communications and training
Requirements:
• At least 5 years in a health and safety position required
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation across Canadian provinces
• Experience with digital health and safety systems preferred
• Expected travel within Canada (20-25%)
