Visual Inspector IV

Acuren is currently seeking a  Visual Inspector to join our Edmonton call-out team . Responsibilities

Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship

Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation

Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection or rejection

Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Requirements

API 510, 570, ISI (required)

CGSB UT1, MT, PT (required)

Ability to verify and accept material

Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
