Position Details
Echo NDE is currently seeking Pipeline Integrity Technicians to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for certified NDT professionals seeking stable, long‑term employment with a company committed to training, development, and career growth.
Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws using various NDE inspection methods.
Perform examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines.
Review pipeline integrity inspection reports and assist other technicians with reporting.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment.
Conduct inspections on parts following procedures established for each task.
Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
Assist with various other inspection tasks.
Organize and report inspection results and communicate them to the responsible engineer.
Interpret, process, and correlate inline inspection data.
Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
Hold CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 certification.
Hold CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 certification.
Hold PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent certification.
Have knowledge of the pipeline industry and, specifically, pipeline integrity inspections.
Manage and organize large and varied amounts of data.
Possess good analytical skills and be detail oriented.
Communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
Pass a vision and color detection test.
Hold a valid driver’s license minimum class 5 with a clean driving record.
Work well within a team environment.
