Your primary responsibility will involve certifying the quality of asphalt products to maximize customer satisfaction. Working closely with the lab supervisor, you will aid in developing asphalt binder grades pivotal for hot mix designs used throughout Western Canada. This role is tailored for individuals with robust lab experience and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in asphalt product testing and evaluations
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
• Maintain detailed records of equipment status
• Support safety compliance and hazard reporting
• Uphold quality specifications across testing processes
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in a relevant laboratory environment
• Completion of Chemical or Civil Technologist Diploma
• Proficient in QC software and MS Office applications
• AASHTO Technician Certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication abilities
