CWB Level 2 QC Inspector Shutdowns

Position: CWB Level 2 QC Inspector for Shutdowns
Engage in important quality control work as a CWB Level 2 QC Welding Inspector during night shifts in the Edmonton area. Focus on critical piping activities for shutdown and turnaround projects.

We have four inspector positions available, with three in Edmonton and one in Fort Mac Murray. This role requires a CWB Level 2 Certification and experience in shutdown environments. You will play an essential role in conducting quality inspections and ensuring adherence to safety standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute quality inspections for welding and piping activities

• Ensure compliance with CSA and ASME Codes

• Verify compliance with piping specifications and material traceability

• Review piping isometrics and interpret complex drawings

• Conduct detailed inspections and monitor welding tasks

Requirements:

• CWB Level 2 Certification is mandatory

• Previous experience with shutdown inspections preferred

• Solid knowledge of carbon and stainless steel piping

• Familiarity with QA/QC systems and documentation

• Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
