QC Assembly Inspector

Ensure quality in modular cooling units as a QC Assembly Inspector with Johnson Controls. Be the key player in verifying build integrity and maintaining high safety standards on the rotational day shift.
In this role, you will conduct thorough inspections of sub-assemblies and final units to ensure conformity with specifications and drawings. Your responsibilities will include daily inspections, maintaining documentation, and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with the quality and production teams is essential to uphold safety protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections on motor, evaporator, furnace components
• Verify compliance with drawings and quality standards
• Document and report discrepancies to the Quality Supervisor
• Assist in training inspectors and production teams
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
Requirements:
• Ability to read shop drawings accurately
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Knowledge of safety standards in assembly
• Competence with Microsoft Office tools
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs
