Mechanical QA Advisor – Rotating Equipment
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QA Advisor to support quality assurance activities on a major industrial project. The successful candidate will oversee quality processes related to rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities- Review and approve quality plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspection requirements.
- Conduct audits of contractors, vendors, and fabrication facilities.
- Monitor compliance with project quality standards and specifications.
- Review NCRs, deficiencies, and corrective action plans.
- Support quality planning, risk assessments, and turnover activities.
- Interface with engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to field QC personnel.
- Mechanical trade certificate, engineering technology diploma, or engineering degree.
- Experience supporting rotating equipment on industrial projects.
- Knowledge of pumps, compressors, motors, turbines, and associated mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, and quality documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
