Contribute to impactful research with the University of Alberta as a Research Assistant. Support a hybrid project in public health with a passionate team focused on data analysis and manuscript preparation.
This role is specifically for internal applicants and spans six months, blending remote and in-person work at North Campus, Edmonton. You will assist an experienced principal investigator while engaging in literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative data collection, and administrative tasks to facilitate project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings
• Take notes, minutes, and action items during meetings
• Assist in writing proposals, reports, and manuscripts
• Help prepare publications, posters, and technical reports
• Support project monitoring and communication with partners
Requirements:
• MSc in Global Health or a related field
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Experience in literature synthesis and data analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
