This full-time position will commence with a one-year appointment that can be extended within the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science. You will conduct independent research focusing on feedstuff development and nutritional analyses, guiding students throughout their learning process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct qualitative and statistical analysis of relevant research data
• Lead and troubleshoot experimental protocols for optimal results
• Prepare and present research findings in various formats
• Share insights at conferences and lab meetings
• Assist in mentoring graduate and summer students in the lab
Requirements:
• PhD in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or a similar discipline
• Hands-on experience in animal care and handling
• Willingness to engage with swine
Support vital research in swine nutrition while collaborating with professionals at the University of Alberta.
