Postdoctoral Researcher in Air Quality Engineering

The initial appointment for this position is one year, with the potential for an extension based on performance. Candidates must possess a recent PhD in fields such as Environmental Engineering or Atmospheric Science, with strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop predictive models for wildfire occurrences
• Apply machine learning to climate risk datasets
• Investigate indoor pollutant dynamics
• Evaluate filtration and ventilation strategies
• Mentor trainees and assist in research collaboration
Requirements:
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Experience in wildfires and indoor air quality research
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed literature
• Proficient communication in English
• Experience with air cleaning technologies and data-driven research
