Sport Chek is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead in Edmonton, AB to actively protect store assets and customer safety. Your leadership will ensure effective loss prevention awareness throughout the store.
This full-time position involves reporting to the Store General Manager while actively reducing loss through a strong presence on the sales floor. Key areas of focus will include securing high-value products, coaching staff on loss prevention responsibilities, and conducting incident reports as necessary. This role is essential in creating a safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor high-risk areas to prevent loss
• Ensure LP tagging standards are applied to all products
• Acknowledge customers to improve the store experience
• Train staff on loss prevention awareness
• Document incidents and collaborate with management
Requirements:
• 6+ months retail experience preferred
• Experience in loss prevention or security significant
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification essential
• Enthusiasm for sports and coaching others
