Freson Bros. is seeking a Full-Time Smokehouse Clerk at our Glenora location in Edmonton, AB. This role involves preparing smoked products and delivering excellent customer service.
Join the Freson Bros. team to support our commitment to fresh, local food. As a Smokehouse Clerk, you’ll assist in preparing ingredients, mixing, and packaging smoked items such as bacon and jerky. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients for smoked products like bacon and jerky
• Assist in mixing, stuffing, and hanging items for smoking
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area during shifts
• Handle food safely following all regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service and support inquiries
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Experience in a smokery or butchery is a plus
