Yard Attendant - North Co-op

Part-time Yard Attendant at Home Centre in Stony Plain, AB.

• Provide professional advice and support to all members and customers in the Home Centre
• Consult with customers to assemble orders and arrange deliveries
• Assist in receiving product and reviewing documentation to ensure proper quantity and type of product being delivered and record any shortages
• Advise management of any stock deficiencies
• Pick-up deliveries from suppliers as directed, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
• Collect payment on C.O.D. deliveries and coordinate pick-up of returned items from customers
• Ensure safe and proper operation of all company equipment, including the forklift
• Support in other departments and with other duties as required

• High School Diploma
• 1–2 years of previous lumber yard experience
• Previous experience in a Home Centre retail location would be considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
