Seasonal Sales Associate What will you do?
A day in the life of a Seasonal Sales Associate includes engaging customers, creating memorable shopping experiences, delivering exceptional service, contributing to sales, visual merchandising, performing cashier duties, supporting loss prevention, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, modeling inclusive behavior, and supporting the store during peak season with potential to transition to regular employment.
- Engage with customers, share product knowledge, and deliver exceptional service.
- Build sales by maintaining a customer‑centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
- Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready store environment, adhering to all company policies and safety standards.
- Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Foundation skills and experience required (0–1 year) are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
- Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
- Physical ability to stand, move, bend, reach, squat, climb ladders, and lift light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Hiring range: $16.00 - $19.20 CAD per hour.
This is a part‑time or limited‑time position (e.g., internship) and is not eligible for all of the benefit plans offered at VF Corporation. Some benefits may be available; detailed information will be provided upon hire.
