Become a vital part of The Salvation Army's mission as a Retail Associate at our Thrift Store in Thunder Bay, ON. This full-time role focuses on customer service and store operations.
As a Retail Associate, you'll engage with our diverse community, helping to meet their shopping needs while managing donations. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain store standards will be key in this hands-on retail position. Flexibility is required as shifts include weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers and donors with care
• Handle cash and complete sales transactions
• Process and sort donated items responsibly
• Ensure safe and organized store layout
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment
Requirements:
• Completion of some high school courses
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Familiarity with cash registers
• Ability to stand and lift 30 pounds
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
