The Grocery People (TGP) are hiring a Meat Wrapper for their TGP Wholesale Market located in High Prairie. Do you have a customer-focused attitude and are looking to take the next step in your retail career? TGP High Prairie wants to hear from you!
What You'll Do- Assist in maintaining high standards of customer relations and service.
- Prepare, wrap, price and stock as well as price check merchandise as assigned
- Become familiar with all products handled and to be alert to new product information to be able to properly inform customers.
- Restock all types of meat according to the Department procedures; ensuring proper rotation, freshness and fullness at all times.
- Ensure all meat cases are properly filled, and any product, variety, package shortages are immediately brought to the attention of the Meat Manager of his designate.
- To collaborate with superior to settle customer complaints and adjustments as required.
- To ensure that traffic areas are always kept clean and orderly.
- Other duties as required.
We help feed Western Canada by providing fresh groceries and wholesale solutions to independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small
Who You Are- Have customer service experience. Retail experience considered an asset.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
