North Star Equipment Rentals is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Edmonton.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Process rental quotations, reservations, contracts, and invoices in compliance with company policies
- Assist Operations Manager with service administrative tasks
- Coordinate and track daily equipment pick-ups and returns
- Work in a fast paced sales environment, providing helpful, quality service and sales
- Service writing; providing equipment maintenance and shop service records
- Assist with deliveries and preparing equipment for rental
- Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitors
- Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs
- Answering customer inquiries urgently and efficiently
- Picking orders
- Putting away equipment and tools
- Continuous inventory checks
- General house keeping
- General warehouse duties
- Represent Northstar Equipment Rentals in a professional manner
- Participate in the on-call rotation
Other duties and responsibilities as required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks in an effective, organized manner
- Demonstrate sales professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge of construction equipment considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Display a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Microsoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
- Customer service experience in the rental business an asset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Experience operating a forklift and other equipment an asset; training will be provided
- Valid class 5 Alberta driver license with clean abstract
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, Respect Others, succeed as a Team, Lead with Courage and Deliver Results
