Lead Food and Consumables performance at Walmart in Smiths Falls through sales analysis, team development, and customer-focused store execution.
As a Store Management Team member, you drive profitable sales through goals, budgets, forecasts, and expense control. You lead hourly associates, guide Department Managers, and support positive customer experiences through friendly service. The work includes stocking activities, merchandise presentation, pricing, store standards, and cross-training across store areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze sales reports, financial results, trends, and community needs
- Create operational plans and provide clear direction
- Lead stocking activities, merchandise presentation, pricing, and store standards
- Monitor safety, asset protection, quality assurance, and compliance controls
- Develop associates through meetings, feedback, training, and recognition
- Be at least 16 years old
- Meet Walmart policies and operational procedures
- Handle merchandise including alcohol, ammunition, narcotics, and high-ticket items
- Maintain cash controls involving up to $250,000 daily
- Provide timely, honest, specific, and respectful performance feedback
