Support Walmart customers with self checkout assistance, friendly service, and transaction checks at 13703 40TH ST N W in Edmonton, Alberta.
As a Self Checkout Attendant, you will help customers complete transactions in the self service checkout area. You will monitor activity, explain interventions clearly, and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager. The work also includes maintaining area standards and supporting applicable Walmart programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers using self checkout quickly and confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required transaction checks
- Explain interventions in a friendly, reassuring manner
- Escalate cash or technical issues appropriately
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized checkout area
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend and lift up to 20 pounds
- Occasional ability to lift up to 50 pounds
