Support Walmart customers at self checkout in Edmonton using friendly service, transaction assistance, monitoring, and clear explanations.
As a Self Checkout Attendant, you will help customers complete self-service transactions quickly and confidently. You will maintain area standards, support Walmart programs, respond to EAS alerts, and escalate cash or technical issues. The position requires availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean, safe, organized self checkout area
- Assist customers and complete required checkout checks
- Explain interventions clearly and reassuringly
- Promote applicable Walmart programs and initiatives
- Escalate cash or technical issues to management
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally 50
- Ability to perform repetitive stocking and organizing tasks
