Help customers choose flooring and decor solutions at The Home Depot through product knowledge, project guidance, and friendly service.
As a Sales Specialist, you welcome customers, assess project needs, locate merchandise, and recommend products and services. You support Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance priorities while driving department sales. The position includes special orders, installed sales, showroom maintenance, and follow-up on job quotes.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and assess project and product needs
- Explain merchandise features, benefits, and project steps
- Support special orders and installed sales
- Maintain stock through pack-down and packout activities
- Follow up on job quotes to complete sales
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- High school diploma and/or GED knowledge typically acquired
- Ability to stand, walk, and handle moderate-weight materials
- Retail, specialty retail, outside sales, or trade experience preferred
