Build merchant relationships in Edmonton through field outreach, customer engagement, and platform introductions as a full-time City Specialist.
TEKsystems is seeking a City Specialist for a 12-month contract with potential permanent hire. You will visit restaurants, engage decision-makers, identify business needs, and coordinate sales follow-up. The position supports merchant onboarding, feedback gathering, records maintenance, and basic technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:- Visit restaurants and prospective merchant partners throughout Edmonton
- Introduce the company platform to restaurant decision-makers
- Identify merchant needs, challenges, and priorities
- Schedule follow-up meetings with sales representatives
- Support onboarding and platform-related questions
- Six months customer-facing experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or service
- Confidence approaching unfamiliar businesses and decision-makers
- Microsoft Office or Google Workspace proficiency
- Intermediate SQL and general technical proficiency
- Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and Edmonton-area location
Use relationship building, merchant outreach, and technical troubleshooting to support restaurant partners and sales growth throughout Edmonton.
