Lead agricultural account sales with Simplot Grower Solutions, using agronomy knowledge and customer management skills. Work location is flexible, with required daily travel.
This Account Manager Lead supports growers through crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty, technology, and agronomic services. Under Market Manager direction, the role leads location sales planning and supports financial and operational objectives. You will manage customer relationships, forecasting, credit, service, and agronomy support.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead location sales and product forecasting activities
- Manage assigned accounts, customer service, and CRM records
- Develop crop plans, budgets, credit, and receivables
- Promote agronomy and Ag Innovation services
- Support inventory, warehouse, and peak-season operations
- Minimum three years of sales or agronomy experience
- Passion for agriculture and its future
- Agriculture or business degree or diploma is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to travel daily, work extended hours, and travel overnight
