Lead business development for Giffen Consulting Ltd. across Atlantic Canada from a remote base in St. John’s, using mining expertise and relationship building.
This experienced, full-time Manager develops regional growth strategies for Giffen’s mining, utility, and heavy industrial markets. You will work with Innu and First Nations partners, clients, stakeholders, and project delivery teams. The position initially operates remotely from St. John’s before transitioning to hybrid work once the office is established.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead Atlantic Canada business growth strategies
- Cultivate client and stakeholder relationships across regional markets
- Lead business generation and deal execution efforts
- Maintain Hub Spot opportunity records and follow up consistently
- Represent Giffen at industry events and client meetings
- 10+ years of mining and metals industry experience
- 5+ years selling solutions within a service industry
- Proven business development or sales executive experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office and graphics application skills
- Willingness and ability to travel for business development
