Position: Security Services Role at MacEwan University
Mac Ewan University is seeking dedicated Security Services Agents for full-time positions in the Campus Security Services department. This role focuses on emergency response and fostering campus safety.

Candidates will engage with staff and students, provide information, and maintain vigilance during patrols. Strong communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills are essential in facilitating a safe learning environment. You will work directly with the community to address safety concerns, making a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to alarm systems and safety calls

• Manage building access and security checks

• Conduct investigations into reported incidents

• Carry out extensive patrols around campus

• Ensure effective communication during shift changes

Requirements:

• Completion of a Government-recognized Security Services course

• Current Standard First Aid certification

• At least two years in security services

• Ability to fulfill shift work requirements

• Must have a valid license under Alberta legislation
