Your role involves managing security and responding to emergencies while maintaining keying systems.
This in-person position is essential for creating a secure environment. The Journeyperson locksmith will work across various University campuses in Edmonton, providing crucial services such as responding to lost or stolen keys and securing doors. This role also entails participation in standby services to address emergencies swiftly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide locksmith services for emergencies and break-ins
• Maintain high security keying systems for affiliated organizations
• Participate in standby rotations for immediate response
• Ensure secure environments across University campuses
• Conduct security audits as required by Alberta Justice
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification as a locksmith
• Registered with Alberta Justice and the Solicitor General
• Experience in key management and security systems
• Ability to work in person at various locations
• Commitment to safety and security protocols
