Position Overview

The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) is seeking an experienced professional to fill the key role of Security Guard.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Investigate incidents and act as a security agent for area managers and patrons.
Serve as First Responder in Emergency Code Events.
Operate audio and video equipment and oversee all security and CCTV surveillance issues.
Maintain the administration of security programs and investigate alarms.

Qualifications

High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent, or minimum one year in a related field.
Security Guard License.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
First Aid / CPR Certificate.
Level 2 CPIC.
