Special Events Security Guards

Join Securitas as a Special Events Security Guard in Edmonton, available during the 2026 Event Season. Earn $18.50 per hour while ensuring the safety and security at major events.

We're seeking dedicated individuals for event security, requiring open availability, especially on evenings and weekends.

Your role will include performing security checks, writing incident reports, and providing excellent customer service, all while working outdoors. You must be prepared to interact with patrons, enforce regulations, and preserve the scene during incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and report on-site activities and incidents

• Perform security checks, including pat-downs and bag searches

• Enforce regulations related to personnel and premises

• Control access through the admittance process

• Communicate effectively using handheld radios

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Security License

• Event security experience preferred

• Open availability on evenings and weekends

• AGLC certification or ability to obtain it

• Reliable transportation to event sites
