Position: Edmonton Event Security Guards Needed
Securitas is hiring Event Security Guards for the 2026 season in Edmonton. Earn $18.50 per hour while ensuring safety during major events from April to December.

Applicants must be available for at least 80% of events during the busy season. The role encompasses observing activities, performing checks, and interacting with patrons while maintaining order. Ability to adapt to outdoor weather conditions and complete necessary certifications is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report incidents on-site

• Conduct thorough security checks at events

• Enforce site regulations and directives

• Control access and verify identification

• Communicate effectively via radios for reporting

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Alberta Security License

• Event security experience is a plus

• Open availability required, especially evenings/weekends

• Complete AGLC certification as needed

• Access to reliable transportation is a must
