This role with Parkland County Fire Services allows you to engage as a Paid-on-Call Firefighter, responding to fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents. Candidates will complete mandatory training sessions to ensure readiness for all types of emergencies. This is a dynamic role that emphasizes public service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to a range of emergency incidents promptly
• Participate in continuous training and skill development
• Conduct preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment
• Collaborate on emergency responses with team members
• Prepare necessary documentation related to incidents
Requirements:
• High-school diploma and at least 18 years old
• Standard First Aid with CPR Certification required
• Valid class 5 driver’s license upon hiring
• Conduct a Criminal Record Check upon hiring
• Must live within a designated distance of fire stations
