We are hiring for a Loss Prevention Officer for our Edmonton locations.
You will be responsible for:- Maintaining an undercover, plain-clothes presence on the sales floor while blending into the store environment.
- Conducting discreet observations to identify and address potential theft, fraud, and mischief.
- Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
- Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
- Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.
- A valid AB Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
- Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
- Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
- Open availability (considered an asset).
