Are you a Beekeeper looking to connect people in cities to nature by sharing your passion with clients? We might just have the right opportunity for you!

Alvéole is looking for Beekeepers contractors in Edmonton to do what they are best at: beekeeping!

• Maintain honey beehives at client sites on a minimum three‑week cycle, carrying out tasks that support bee health throughout the season (routine maintenance, record‑keeping, facilitating educational workshops).
• Drive to client sites, yards, equipment and suppliers within your city.
• Engage with clients and tenants about the services Alvéole offers, including beehives, beehomes, and data collection through samples.

Training sessions on workshops and expectations are provided by Alvéole. Equipment such as hive stand, hive base, bee boxes, inner and outer covers can be supplied.

• Autonomous, results‑driven and goal‑oriented.
• Sensitive to Alvéole’s mission and standards in client engagement.
• Resourceful with ability to anticipate change and adjust priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working alone.

• Experience in beekeeping.
• Comfortable working at heights and willing to work in buildings.
• Comfortable with public speaking in English.
• Interest in pollinators, beekeeping, urban greening and/or ESG.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean record for over 3 years.
• Comfortable driving in cities.
• Location to ship, receive and store beekeeping items.
• Comfortable with beekeeping hazards (stings, heavy lifting, inclement weather).
• Heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Comfortable using online communication tools (Gmail, Google Workspace, etc.).
• Willingness and ability to work when services are needed.
• Customer service experience is an asset.
