Maintenance Technician

Staffmax is supporting our client in hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician for an 8-month contract. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and building systems within a manufacturing facility.

Edmonton, AB

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems

· Document repairs and log equipment maintenance history

· Assist with facility repairs (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

· Ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards

· Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime

· Coordinate with production staff to schedule maintenance efficiently

Requirements:

· 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

· Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems

· Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

· Safety-focused with strong communication skills

· Trade certification (preferred but not required)
