Behavioural Consultant: Positive Supports Specialist

Shape behaviour support services as a Behavioural Consultant with a focus on Positive Supports. Provide leadership and clinical expertise while working with adults to enhance their quality of life through tailored strategies.

In this position, you will develop effective behaviour support plans alongside collaborating teams and external partners. Your leadership will ensure an ethical and person-centred approach is maintained throughout engagements. This role is suited for professionals passionate about driving change through their expertise in behaviour support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments and FBAs

• Develop and implement individualized support plans

• Mentor staff on Positive Behaviour Supports

• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams

• Monitor outcomes and make necessary strategy adjustments

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Psychology or related field

• Comprehensive knowledge of PBS practices

• Experience training and coaching peers in a support capacity

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Lead impactful support initiatives that prioritize individual autonomy and positive behaviour change in supportive and effective ways.
