Join Kahkiyaw as a Case Manager in the Youth Wellness Worker position, supporting Indigenous youth in Edmonton. This temporary role focuses on case management and relationships.
In this role, you will work within Kahkiyaw's innovative program, supporting Indigenous youth and families through prioritized case management and advocacy. You will ensure client files are organized, deadlines for service plans are met, and that you employ strength-based tools like Signs of Safety to assist families effectively. Engagement and understanding of community resources will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Case Manager alongside Children Services
• Foster positive connections with youth
• Keep client information current and organized
• Utilize various strength-based assessment tools
• Document service plans and case notes accurately
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Human Services required
• 3-5 years of related experience is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Recent criminal record and child intervention checks required
Support Indigenous families effectively with your expertise in social services.
