This role involves client-centered care for youth aged 13-18 facing various challenges, including addictions and behavioral disabilities like ADHD. With a schedule of 36 hours per week on an overnight rotation, you will create a safe and nurturing environment. Your responsibilities include supervising youth, facilitating life-skills training, and assisting in community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee service plans for children and youth
• Support youth in a residential setting
• Facilitate life-skills training and hands-on learning
• Assist youth with appointments and educational needs
• Submit program documentation within deadlines
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Human Services
• Two years of experience with behavioral disabilities
• Ability to connect with youth effectively
• Training in Crisis Intervention, First Aid, and Aboriginal Awareness
• Police Information Check up to date
