In this vital role, you'll focus on youth aged 13-18, assisting them in overcoming significant challenges related to addiction and behavioral issues. Working 36 hours a week on overnight shifts, you will implement service plans and teach life skills to foster community relationships. You'll play a crucial role in helping youth develop healthy habits and coping mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise children and youth within the residential environment
• Assist with life-skills training using hands-on methods
• Help youth attend necessary appointments and programs
• Maintain accurate program documentation
• Handle basic housekeeping and meal prep responsibilities
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Human Services
• Minimum two years of relevant counseling experience
• Certification in Crisis Intervention methods
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Current Police Information Check
