Indigenous Family Support Worker

As a Family Preservation and Reunification Worker, you will support Indigenous families involved with Children and Family Services. Your responsibilities include providing holistic support, coaching, and mentoring while connecting families with vital resources. Collaborate with teams to foster family resilience and leverage community strengths, celebrating every family's unique journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Deliver therapeutic supports to families as outlined
• Coach families towards their desired program goals
• Provide consultative support in various environments
• Maintain accurate records and reports on family progress
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social sciences or related fields
• 2-3 years in a human services role
• Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• First Aid and CPR certification required within 3 months
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and operational vehicle
Support family reunification and make a difference for Indigenous communities in Edmonton.
