Your role will involve ensuring safe and nurturing environments.
This position offers casual, part-time, or full-time opportunities within Alberta's housing and correctional facilities. Ideal candidates will have profound knowledge of Indigenous cultures, historic trauma, and will be dedicated to the personal growth of residents. Your responsibility includes monitoring safety and advocating for individuals based on their case plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee security responsibilities for residents
• Promote self-growth in a supportive setting
• Assist residents with their case plans
Requirements:
• Experience with Indigenous culture and languages
• Understanding of historical trauma effects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a reliable vehicle and Alberta driver’s license
• Recent criminal record and child intervention checks needed
Leverage your skills in service to the community while working with NCSA to promote healing and security.
