Position: Full-Time Family Support Home Visitor
Location: Drayton Valley

Join McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association as a Home Visitor in Drayton Valley, providing essential family support and parenting education. This full-time role focuses on enhancing skills for expectant and new parents.

Located in Alberta, McMan has a long-standing reputation for innovative community services. The Home Visitor will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based support to families with children aged 0-6. You will be integral in fostering safe, nurturing environments while documenting progress and challenges faced by families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective in-home support for families

• Facilitate parenting education tailored to individual needs

• Help families overcome challenges affecting child development

• Document client progress and prepare necessary reports

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Human Services; degree preferred

• 1 year of relevant frontline experience, 3 years preferred

• Basic First Aid Level C and CPR certification

• Clean driver's abstract and reliable transportation

• Intervention Record and Criminal Record Checks required
