Housing Coordinator

Position: Full-Time Housing Coordinator
Make a difference as a Community Outreach Housing Coordinator at Katharine Drexel Place in Edmonton, Alberta, with Catholic Social Services. This full-time role is focused on client-centered housing support and advocacy.

As a housing coordinator, your main goal is to assist families in overcoming housing barriers. You will work collaboratively to create and implement individualized housing plans, while ensuring a seamless delivery of services. This role requires a compassionate approach to help families regain stability and dignity in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid families in navigating housing options and stability

• Create personalized housing plans with achievable milestones

• Build partnerships with landlords and housing offices

• Assist with housing documentation and lease processes

• Empower families through workshops on budgeting and tenancy rights

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year Diploma/Degree in Human Services

• At least 2 years’ experience in related fields

• Knowledge of homelessness issues affecting families

• Strong assessment and conflict resolution abilities

• Reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license required
